English: A Weekend Well Spent With Family in the Danish Countryside. The weekend before I left for Mallorca, I was back in Denmark to attend our annual family weekend which is kind of sacred – the whole family knows that at that specific weekend we all have to go to the other part of Danmark – Jutland – to spend a weekend together in my dad’s aunts house.

This is the house shown in the picture, and this place is hands down one of my favorite places in the world. Not only because of the fact that the beach is no longer than 20 meters away from the house, yes the beach is basically their front yard, and because the house is so beautiful and idyllic, but also because I have so many great memories from this place.

It is so nice to have a whole weekend spent with family, and we were all really forced to come up with things to do, since the wifi wasn’t working, so none of us could stare into our phone screens. The weekend was then spent with long talks, walks, beach time and eating. Eating, eating and eating, but luckily the man of the house is the best chef ever!
