My trip to Cuba pt. 2

In the past weeks I have…

I’ve not been the best blogger lately. Missing internet connection in Cuba and project moving in with my boyfriend have taken a lot of my time, so I thought it was high time to give you a full update of what has been going on lately.

♥ I began February with quitting my full time job. The job had made me unhappy for a long time and in the end of January I figured, I needed to quit it.

♥ Visited quite a few countries. I left Berlin for almost four weeks and had fun in New York City, The Cayman Islands, Cuba, and Miami.

♥ Had a lot of time off. Not working a full time job anymore is a big change for me. Till now, I spent more than a year working three different jobs while trying to manage still having time for fun, friends, family, the gym, and myself. Having all of this new free time on my hand is definitely something I have to get used to and learn how to deal with. So far I am not doing so good – I am spending way too much time in bed with Netflix.

♥ Got addicted to gel nail polish and eyelash extensions. In New York City I went to a beauty salon to have my nails and eyelashes done, and I am beyond addicted to the fact that I look good when I wake up and it doesn’t take a layer of mascara before I like how I look, and that I can look down and see my perfect, flawless finger nails. I need to come up with a plan how to continue this easy beauty routine in Berlin and figure out where to get it done here.

♥ Turned our living room into a movie theater. My boyfriend bought speakers and a projector and this causes a lot of movie and Netflix watching…. I love it and I hate its time consuming function.

♥ Worn yoga pants a lot. You know what they say. As soon as you get used to wearing them you can’t get yourself to wear anything else. So easy, so simple, so comfortable!

♥Cleaned up a lot. In addition to moving in with my boyfriend I took it as an opportunity to really get cleaned up and sorted out all of my stuff. I have a storage bed which means I have ten boxes under it filled with random stuff. I organized them and found a lot of random stuff that I have no idea why I would keep.

♥ Given my closet a good and needed organizing hand. I try to do this as often as possible and this time I managed to clear out two shelves for my boyfriend. More about the closet clean up later.

♥ Thought about buying a juicer. My parents have one back in Denmark and I miss being able to make my own juices exactly how I want them, so I am contemplating getting my own juicer for Berlin.

♥ Learned a lot about compromising. Let’s just say that moving in with your other half takes effort, work, commitment and compromising. But I love it!
