A weekend in Berlin

ENGLISH: I hope you all had a great weekend! I definitely did. I am currently sitting in my bathrobe in my bed, all fresh and clean after a long shower. Outside it is snowing and it is just a nice, calm Sunday. As I wrote in my last post, one of my best friends is here from Copenhagen this weekend visiting me. She is actually still here, just out and about seeing other Berlin friends. I, on the other hand, chose to stay at home for a few hours to get some reading, blogging and school work done. Later, we will all go to dinner before she is off to Copenhagen again (insert crying-emoji). Well, we had a great weekend in Berlin, and here is what we did:

#Saturday afternoon – pitstop at recently opened coffee cafe in Kreuzberg – Fenster Coffee. Great place!

Coffee at Fenster Coffee in Kreuzberg! The barista helped me set up for this snapshot and we told him he would make a great Instagram husband 😉

All along we had to act as each other’s Instagram husbonds as we found this cute, blue house facade.

…That matched my new sweater perfectly! Outfit post coming up soon!

Beautiful, yet icy cold Berlin!

Yep, I told you we like coffee and cafes! Another pit stop at Father Carpenter Coffee in Mitte.

We even made it to Primark (a place I normally try to avoid partly due to the insane amount of people in there which is a little angst provoking to me), but that day it wasn’t too bad, so we went for it. Mostly because my friend had to buy 24 pair of stockings for various girlfriends from Copenhagen. I found this wool hat for 5 euros, and I hat to get it albeit it’s a little tall… 😉

Weekend brunch at Happy Baristas in Friedrichshain, which has fast become one of my favorite places in Berlin. Maybe because it is so close to my home? French toast brioche with poached fruit and sirup, coffee and granola with apples and yogurt.

Happy Baristas!

Now I have to clean up a little bit, and then get ready for dinner at another one of our favorites, Transit. I’ve not been eating any Asian food since I came back from Thailand a week and a half ago. I think I simply overdosed on fried rice and chili sauce, but I feel like I am back in the game and ready for some Asian food, and Transit is a winner! Enjoy your Sunday night! xxx

Tusind tak og i lige måde! Haha, hvor sjovt, men verden er også lille, så hvem ved, måske har vi mødt hinanden? 😉
